Here is my current setup and following is my "home grown" diagnostic head for the same GT1/DIS system. Just plug and play for a fraction of the original diagnostic head cost. This was a fun and successful project if you ask me :-)

Just for informational purpose only..... :-)

Hey Ethan, here's a stupid question for you: if I flash, the only thing that needs to be changed is the lkm? Not the bulbs or any wiring, right?

With the Euro LKM flashed there is some minor modification / wiring involved... Never done the mod to be honest but others did it with a lot of help from Steffen and Greg... Auraptor just performed this mod so he will be a good guy to talk to... I hope this helps.... There was a post from Steffen as well about this particular mod.... Cheers.....

No wiring mod except for the rear fog light. The wiring is already in the harness, you just need to add the bulb socket with it's 2 wires. You will also need the rear foglight switch.

Nice! I've got a rear foglight switch coming to me. I'll install it then I'll flash my US-LKM for some serious 'get outta my way' high beam action :D Ok seriously, I'm kidding. But all lights on at the same time is a lifesaver out on the desert highways at night. Just Say No to tumbleweeds.

... Just Say No to tumbleweeds.

...and border crossers!

Used to see them run over on an almost daily basis when I lived in El Paso

Yes, I believe that there is info regarding this on Wuffer's site in the archives.

Roge I am really glad that Steff managed to help lots of folks last year with the DIS/GT1 system... More power to him and I am really glad he is so very helpful to lots of us including myself...

And for everybody as a quick update to my "home grown" GT1/DIS system I may be able to "advice" other folks on how to do it, if there is interest....It is very involved but do-able process if you have some hardware and software knowledge... If you don't have the know-how then I am sure $$$ can buy all of that indeed....After all is all about sharing knowledge...
