Last time it didn't meet reserve and the auction closed in the mid $40K's. From what I understand, this car is a pristine legit '97 850Ci. Yes, Ci. Korman supposedly did a huge job on this car including a proper 6spd conversion and 6 litre stroker engine based on the original Ci 5.4l v12 (see website for specs)!!! Considering the engine work alone costs something in the $20K range plus another $7-8K for the transmission conversion and $4K for the huge euro M brakes, there's got to be a ton of money invested in this car. Man, if I had the dough this would be on the top of my list. Something interesting to note in the pictures and off the Korman website is that they do away with the throttle by wire set up and remove the original throttle body (DK) motors to go with a direct throttle linkage.
