Hi all,
I'm currently refurbishing a set of AC Schnitzer 9x17 and 10x17.
A friend of mine now said I should go for Titanium plated screws instead of standard chrome plated ones. I'm not sure what I like better so I'd like to hear your opinion on it. Thanks guys.

Titanium..... personally I prefer the small details that add to an overall effect. If I can swing it, you may have a set of MK1s showing up on your doorstep Wolf.
Incase you have a lot of free time polished bolts would look nice.
Titanium looks a bit too gangsta bling bling IMHO.

Chrome... it makes the look simple and clean.

Chrome. The titanium gives it too much "bling" factor, which sort of ruins the look for me.
Good choice on the 17"s as well. If I didn't have 18" that came on the car, I would have gone with those.
One note though, I'm not sure where you are getting those bolts but... mine are flush mounted. I would highly recommend flush mounted bolts unless you just like cleaning wheels with cotton swabs all the time....

you're correct, it is a dark gold. The manufacturer calls them titanium plated. Same stuff like some high end drill bits.
And I agree with the majority, gold bolts are too much bling. I actually finished the set today using the chrome plated bolts.

This is the original type bolt as used by OZ with the only difference that the head is 12 point and not 10 point as the OZ ones are requiring special tools for mounting/removal.
I hate cleaning wheels !!! That's why I always clear coat the wheels I'm running on my own cars and highly recommend it to all my customers. That way they are almost as simple to keep clean as standard steel wheels.
