My 2002 530i needs the bumper and possibly hood repainted. Nothing serious, just some scrapes and chips. I am looking for body shop recommendations in Northern or Central NJ (near Bridgewater). I know JMK and C&D are the best, and I might check their pricing. But reality will dictate that I also need a really good shop that is reasonable for my six year old baby. I want the paint to look really nice and assume it will be about $1K for a decent shop. Anyone have any shops that work with BMW paints and could do a nice job within my budget?

Someone recommended Foreign Specialties in Manville - anyone have experience with them?

Ask for Carlos at Sal-Mar Autobody in newark.
Its a few blocks from Penn station and the new hockey stadium.

Don't let the fact that the shop is in newark scare you. It's a family owned business and reputable shop and i've known the guy for a long time.

Tell him i sent you. He resprayed my hood and bumper on my m-coupe awhile back. I'll PM you the number. He also used to own an M-coupe and goes the extra mile for enthusiasts...
