Just curious who went on here?

M3Augy, Jaredm3 and myself went up friday night, stayed at the red roof inn and then did the saturday track day. Needless to say it was amazing and a lot more fun then the first time I was there. This time I was able to find the limits of my brakes lol. I never felt safe with the hps on the track but last time they got me through the day, thios time I was going so fast it was almost a safety issue because the fluid was boiled (superblu) and the pads were just completely too hot for the speed. Looking to upgrade the pfc01's or 06's, possibly ht-10's.

I never get tired of seeing peoples arms stick out their windows telling me to pass them:devillook:evil2:alright Hey evergreen dan, I passed you! But to be fair you were playing student for the instructors in training haha.

Definately had a blast, I wish i had the funds and time to do more of these. My goal is to do 4+ next season, hopefully become a 1:dunno

It was absolutely a blast, I progress so much more and I too melted my HPS pads and boiled my superblue....I almost overshot T3 because of it....Im thinking of fabricating some turner style brake cooling ducts to help with this issue, they seem simple enough to duplicate out of some sheet metal...

I was right behind nick and went past Evergreen Dan too, but again he was roll playing...I loved your offline driving and your failing to give points:)

I went to one in april and had the same problem, boiled the superblue along with the hps just like you guys! Needless to say its not fun trying to stop and the brakes simply dont want to. I went in early on a few runs because it was just to scary.

Exactly how I felt. I even was braking at the 4 on the front straight and it still wasnt enough time to stop. What pads are you running now for the track?

Hey guys,

Glad everyone had fun. I saw you guys out there a bunch of times, get blowing by us while I was in training. Didnt really have much time for anything during the day. When was the last time you changed out your superblue or bled your brakes? I have been running that fluid consistantly all season with no boil issues what so ever. It is imperative you bleed your brakes before every event to prevent those issues.

For pads, I love the 01's, definitly check out the 06's as they will wear better with almost the same bite as the 01's. Down the front straight I can start my braking at the 2 most of the time. Glad everyone had fun!

Sunday morning went to torque all my wheels and had a front wheel stud snap off clean to the hub on me. Was able to track down a drill and some bits and manged to drill it out and get the car back together to catch the last 5 min of the session. Afternoon got cut short due to a noise coming from the right front. Nothing is loose but I think it could possibly be a shock. Wont know till I tear the corner down and check things over. See everyone next season.

Maybe not more time but he will have more money since he will be out in the real world. Marc you better buy me shit since you will be working full time, no excuses;)

Jay, congrats on becoming an instructor, I knew you'd make it. Can we request you? Also I blame non track brake pads and me not bleeding the brakes after the last nhms event back in may to the fluid boiling, not to mention 4 autox's. Im def gonna bleed them before this sunday's autox and will bleed them before and after each event and def invest in track pads this time.

Jay, do you have dedicated rotors as well? I still drive mine on the street so I am def gonna need to have street pads and track pads. Should I have dedicated rotors? I feel in the long run its probabaly better to keep the matching rotors with the matching pads. Yea you can bed them in each time but that seems like a waste of pad/rotor. What do you think?

Thanks for the congrats. No idea if you can request me or not. Couldnt tell ya on that one.

Since I dont primarily drive the car I do not have dedicated rotors. I just keep the 01's on the car with the rotors. I have heard that if you use a street pad that is of a similiar type of compound as your race pad then you do not have to do rotor swaps, otherwise it would probably be a good idea.
