After decompressing with a beer, I checked out the pics and decided to go ahead and upload them.

The meet and mountain drive were AWESOME! Good scenery and exciting driving(although sometimes a little *too* exciting, right Mark? :laugh). Definitely worth the time to show up and chit-chat with fellow Bimmer folk!

I arrived at the meet a little on the late side, so not many pics of individual cars. I'll post up the video I took as well, it is about 3.5MB and kinda crappy overall - but it's a digicam with me filming at 95mph, so what can you expect. :dunno

I could just see myself holding the digicam and flying off the highway at 95mph. So I decided to pay more attention to the road towards the end of the shot.

Would be bad to have "naughty evidence" of my stupidity, and I tried to keep the stupidity to a "minimal" level on Sunday. :D

129, the freshly paved road at the end gave me some fits. The grip was weird and I rarely felt right. I forgot how great 180 is. If that's not a Top 10 American road...

Yea, I think 129 still had the "sealant" on top of the asphalt. Seems the tires went into too large of slip angles way too easily. It was good practice for learning to open up the wheel when you want to turn more though!
