This Saturday June 28th the NY Chapter of the BMW Club will be hosting an Autocross at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. This is their 5th event of the year and will be a points event.

I'll be there trying to borrow someones car as usual! :evil2

On another note:

For those of you that are interested in knowing. On June 21st Mercedes-Benz hosted the AMG Challenge at Lime Rock Park which I had entered. I took First Place and Won the event! :redspot

Hey Bryan, its too bad you sold your car, but I know under the circumstances you needed to. Why don't you just be like me, and show up and see who will let you co-drive with them? If I had my 320, I'd let you co drive.

mvf4s-

The AMG Challenge is a by invitation only driving event. It consists of driving any and every AMG Model which Mercedes makes. The day consisted of a Lapping Event, Skid Pad Car Control Clinic, a Slolom Exersize, Emergency Lane Change Manuvers, and an Autocross Competition.

The Lapping event used all of the Mercedes for you to pick and choose which one you want to drive. On the Skid Pad and the Emergency Lane Change Manuvers, we were using the S55 AMG's. On the Slolom Exersize we were using the CLK 55 AMG's. And in the Autocross Competition we were using the SL55 AMG's.

The event also consisted of having a catered breakfast, catered lunch, Professional Race Car Drivers as Instructors and a chance to meet a lot of really great people! The only downside of the event is the cost of the enterance fee, but with all getting all this stuff to go along with it, especially being able to drive any AMG car you want and beat the hell out of it, you sorta over look the cost factor.

Hey G.J. , Thanks for the offer on the 320 but I think I will be showing up in my gutted 84 gti. I really miss my baby and I atleast took first in BSP at the last scca event. The car left on a high note and it wasnt that I "had" to sell her , It's that I am relocating and the money will really help w/ the condo.Well I hope the triple r (rusty, red rabbit) doesnt break down before sat as it is my only ride. Maybe I can snake my parents 02 e430 and see what kinda body roll that thing has:laugh
