Dude the 5 is iffy around 2.. around 3-4 it starts getting packed until the early evening.

When you get to the downtown crush, pull off to the right BEFORE you go past the jail (and down into the downtown crush). Then use the elevated frontage to bypass a lot of that standstill traffic and get back on at the front of the downtown crush area. I wouldn't use Cesar Chavez as that becomes Sunset. That's major suck too. Then 5 over the mountain. Alternately, you could try the Burbank route, but I tend to stick to that nasty downtown route and at least know what I'm getting myself into. Is there a ball game tonight? That would guarantee the Burbank route to SUCK!!!!!!!

dude I saw a person on the stretcher that day when I was on my way up to willow springs. It looked like they jumped off the overpass cause there weren't any smashed up cars or anytthing. Traffic went on for friggin miles.

I got back to huntington beach at about 7:30 had the car dropped off at my work and went straight inside. :(

it does matter, if he had left at 11 like he wanted he woulda gotten home by the time he he made this thread. also, if it was any other day than friday at 2:53 the total trip time woulda been cut in half. I used to drive parts all over the city, I'd frequently make commutes from the valley all the way back to anaheim. On friday's the traffic starts way earlier and lasts a lot longer.

If 2 is a bad time I'd hate to see it during rush hour at 5. Working from home would have to be a necessity if I lived up there. I mean, what's the point of driving a sporty car if you're just going to sit in traffic with it.

Orange County Line to Union Station, Red Line to North Hollywood. Time: about an hour and a half. Cost: about $8 dollars one way. Savings: your mind.

i was driving down the 5 too last night from OC going towards LA. good thing i switched to the 101 cause when i was going back home.. i saw how big the traffic was. it was literally at a complete stop because someone decided to do construction on a friday night. only 1 lane was open.

i was the 5 last night too. Theres a construction area that was barely 2 lanes wide with walls on the sides. Some guy, for some reason, stopped his car on the right lane causing a jam. My whale barely squeezed through the left lane, no idea how the trucks did though.

Yup ....Front passenger side hit. The guy was not lying it did start run and drive fine if it wasnt for the bumper on the ground. It's all cosmetic damage. I just got it back from the frame guy at the body shop next to my work........ :buttrock :buttrock :buttrock :buttrock :buttrock :buttrock

i got a four door CF vented hood in the warehouse that's been clear coated already. customer returned it because i sent him a mislabeled box...the box did say it was for a 2 door! =) oh well, my loss and probably your gain. i'm dumping the price on it big time if you want it. hope this may be an incentive for you to like LA again...=)

I have a line on one for 270.00 shipped that has scratches,which dosent really matter since the body shop next to my studio uses all of our parking spots during the day. Since we let them do that they fix, or paint our cars when necessary, free of charge. So that may be the route I'm headed down. I will be on a trip down your way soon though... I need a bumper and some Lights. Asap. F*ck shipping your too close. I just need to do it when I can borrow my wife's car. My silver car has no split seats in the back and the 325i is getting a new exhaust manifold so its not driveable ATM.
