At the time the car had 30,000 miles (it has 55,000 now), and pressures were 226, 225, 226, 228. Obviously, a car with higher mileage will not do as well, but they should be pretty even, and hopefully over 200 psi. joe325i 06-25-2003, 12:38 AM i think.. there shouldnt be a diffrence of more than 10 psi (i think.. not 100% sure though) between any given cylender.. i had 225 across all with my 325! i know its hard to belive! but its true! EVOIIIM3 07-03-2003, 01:01 PM Don't worry about the numbers to much, just make sure they are all with in 10% of each other, if not do a leak down test to see if it's the rings or the valves. |
