Ask me why!!! I give proof!!! Find somebody else or order direct! They're NOT that cheap anyway!!! I'm NOT a competitor, just a dissatisfied former customer!!!

Well.. yup .. it is the same GBuy that started 3 months ago ....

the GBuy organizer is thinking about leaving the GBuy .. and me and him is talking about handing the GBuy over to me....

Anyways.... I have emailed Konig back in June myself and according to them, Mozart is back ordered til Aug/Sept ... so there is a waiting period.

Anyways, once I get the GBuy list I will send out email again to see what is still waiting patiently ....

anyway.. that is the update

Got email from Eric at SPP today and he gave the old "waiting for Konig Wheels, the importer, story. Another 2 weeks. Have heard that for 3 months.

whatever

I been bugging Eric/mike every couple weeks. Doesn't look like I'm going to be getting my mozart anytime soon. If my name is not already on the current GP list (whomever is currently still organizing it), please let me know, I like to be informed to see if the GP can be move to another supplier or something else. I actually follow the direction on the mozart GP site and sent my purchase info directly to SPP.

I say we organize another one or something, cuz I missed out on that deal

I just got the GBuy list from Jeremy. So looks like I am the organizer of the Mozart GBuy now ?

Anyways.. I will be sending email to everyone in that list for an update to see whom is still interested.

As far as switching to another source, I don't think that will help as the hold up is w/ Konig, not SPP or any other distributor.

I called Konig yesterday and asked for their distrubutor, which is Keytone (or keystone or something like that) ..

I call Keystone and have them called Konig and Keystone told me Konig doesn't have any Mozart (for BMW) availabe for now.

So, I think we still have to wait.

I just have 1 question

the Mozart should be good for any non ///M E36 ? ie .. 323, 325, 328 ?

Thanks

I want in! How much?!

///MForever
08-15-2001, 07:53 AM
w/ Mozart (smaller diam. pipe than stock). High pitch growl (not desirable) and lower quality weld. But if price is the issue IT IS THE ONE FOR YOU. I switched my order to UUC. IT ROCKS.

Preppy

How much was the UUC? does it sound good?

I talked to Konig today, and they said they won't have any in for at least a month. Supposably they ran out and need to order some from germany. When they get in I will run a group buy on them. They are going to keep me updated on any movement. I will post on anything that happens.

it was around $280 something shipped. From the looks of it, doesn't look like the exhaust is gonna be in anyone's hand anytime soon. Been hearing that it'll be end of this month for 3 month now.

If anybody REALLY wants one, the wait time is 2 months if I get it specially ordered.

If Dakar95M3's source can sell Mozart for $280 shipped .... I think we should place our special order.

I will be sending everyone in the email list I got from Jeremy and ask if they are still interested.

Should we do the special order ?

Konig stands for King in German. So I assumed when they said their supplier it was from germany.
Sorry for the confussion.

Heh, don't apologize bro, none needed, it's actually a common mistake. People started criticizing me when I had my old Acura and I put some Konig wheels on it. They said stop trying to be a poser by putting German wheels on it.....

Sadly enough, few months later, I pulled up in my BMW to their dismay :D

Eric from SPP said he would cancel all his Mozart order from the supplier.. due to their bad communication ...

so.....what to do ?

how to get it going again ??

you have to understand.. the hold up is w/ KONIG or the manufacturer plant.... ... .... even KONIG doesn't have Mozart in stock.......

What 'bout e.s Technical Sport exhaust? They cost $455 retail with CCA discount. It's DTM type and the sound like Tri-Flo but much more deeper.

:128: Who are they?

RT7

They're a local shop down here in Gardena, CA. They do Euro and Japanese cars.

Ask for Ming, the owner, he's cool guy. I've bought 2 mufflers from them in the past for both M3s. If you have BMWCCA, you get like $20 discount.

The entire cat is made of T304 stainless steel aluminum with DTM tip. For sound comparison, it has a deeper sound than B&B Tri-Flo.

They may have dealers down in the East Coast side.

I'm not affiliate with them, just a happy customer. :)

Peace!
Ron

Hmm, to me it looks a lot like the Mozart exhaust, but it might just be my ignorance, I'm gonna look into it though.....

But for $455, I might as well throw in another $100 and get something better, like AA gen.3 or something

BlackHawk

yeah.. I agree....

unless it is like Mozart... $300 !!

I might as well go ALL out for my baby anyhow :D

i wouldnt go w/ a supersprint exhaust. i have one on my car right now and am not happy with it. it sounds stock and the only difference is the tips. the muffler itself is almost identical in performance to stock. i was told that by a muffler dealer. but unless you're just going for looks, dont buy supersprint.:shifty:

personally i like the sound of the UUC exhaust because its a little louder than AA. Im moving to Irvine, CA on saturday and there are tons of upgraded bimmers so i should be able to make up my mind there.

Man, Willy loves his SS exhaust.....I'm not going for sound, and if I were, like I said, I'd go for an AA gen.3
