As some of the people in the San Diego area know, I really don't care of my LMs. I usually leave my rims until they are black b/c I have no time to clean it. Why powdercoat rims black when the brake dust accumulates and does the same amount of work for free.
Couple of weeks ago when washing my rims from 3 months for dirt, I come upon that the brake dust has stuck onto my rim and won't come off. I tried using a toothpick and other things to take it off, nothing really worked. I even tried a clay bar in the search funciton I used, that doesn't work worth a hoot.
I go to pep boys and found myself some bleahe wite....in the description it said for you lazy people who leave the rims black for a while...I though to myself, hey that's me.
I sprayed some of the stuff on my wheel and all the dust came off with a toothbrush. I am really happy with the 5 bucks I used.
Just wanted to let you guys know just incase you ever decide to be lazy like I am most of the time and leave the rims black.

Hey, Khoa, isn't it nice to know you just fucked the shit out of your UUC BBK also? Westley's Bleche-White is the work of the devil. That shit does not go near my car.
I hope you're referring to another product. Bleche-White is actually made for the whitewalls or even black sidewalls of tires, and will etch through enameled/clearcoated wheels in no time at all.

mine says it is safe on clearcoat and wheels, so I am sure if my LMs were screwed up by now everyone would know.

Hmm, anything made by them I do not trust. I have to havea bottle on my deks at work right now and anything that has warnings that say ; DANGER: CORROSIVE: CAN CAUSE BURNS scares the hell out of me. especially when that is the front and the rear has even more. As this was there standard tire cleaner where people really had no idea by cleaning their tires they were destroying the finish of their wheels.

Ya know, Just for reference, I am sure he was talking about the Westleys Brake Dust Buster or the Westleys Espree Ultra Wheel Magic. Still, I have my reservations about cleaners.
Ugh... on LMs no less.
Did you try p21s gel? Let it sit on there for a couple of hours, agitate w/ a wash mitt or an OXO wheel brush. Just did this on an ML 430 that hadn't been cleaned in months, everything came right off.

I was using that Westley Brake dust buster junk. It says it was the same makers as the white bleche people.

Just a heads up...some damage from wheel cleaners is not instantly visible. Sometimes it slowly deteriorates the finish, which you would not notice until 6 months later when is starts fading gradually or just completely fails after an application. Just a heads up for future reference.
