Tonight I was driving out North of Sacramento on surface steets off I-5 out by the rice paddies,When a Saleen Mustang Noisily came up alongside me at a stop sign that merged into a single lane on the other side of the intersection. I sensed He wanted to see how the V-12 would do! I am not one to draw first blood, However I love to reel em in ! I get a kick by staying as close as safely possible, Not really racing ,just showing them I can stay on their six. I typically joust on fwy at 80 plus on the roll! My car is deadly! I stayed on his tail until we aproached the cloverleaf for North bound I-5 He had to brake early entering the turn ,I went around him entering the 2 lane cloverleaf as I did I saw him fishtailing loosely as I stuck as if on rails . Now He was mine ! freeway action! I held the gas to the floor and my windows flew up! OOPS! forgot that happens at 100 mph I saw the Mustang really fade as I saw 140 on my speedo,Guess they dont have legs! I saw a supercharged insignia I assume it was the 287 hp 302 although the exhaust was modified as well! I have beat a Dosge Charger Hemi (not 426) Dodge truck hemi (that was really fast for a truck! and cornered very well! I was impressed! and a gang of rice rocket cars! anybody else got any war stories? I really would enjoy taking the 2.75 rear gears and swap a 3.73 ratio! Anyone done this?
