It's summer time, and time to give my a car a real detail.
Basically I have no knowledge on detailing. From what I have read must people have been happy with the use of 3M Swirl Remover and 3M Imperial Hand glaze applied before the use of Zaino.
Experts...please direct me on the order of application of such products/your feelings on them/what they do. Any useful websites will also be appreciated. Thanks.

Best bet is to search some of these threads. There's one near the top here by rupes001 called something like "I just detailed my car for the first time...".
Basically Imperial Hand Glaze is crap. I hate that stuff. I do love most of 3M's other products, however.
Read that thread I mentioned and if you have any more specific questions post 'em up.
BTW, where in La Jolla are you and what do you drive? (I have sigs turned off).

Secret to good detailing is surface prep. You can do it by hand, but you REALLY need a good Rrandom Orbital Polisher like the Porter Cable to do if efficiently and safely. You can also do it with a rotary - quicker, but also more likely to burn/swirl paint if you don't know what you're doing.
If you're going Z then make sure the surface is as perfect as you can get it. Z WILL magnify any flaws in your paint. What kind of shape is your paint in? Scratches, swirls, microscratches, discoloring, etc?
