Is this a true wax or a cleaner wax? If it is a cleaner wax, which wax would be suited well for hellrot?

Ben Carufel 06-14-2003, 02:51 AM The best product I've found for red paint is Klasse AIO. It does absolutely INCREDIBLE things to red paint. Top that with some S100/P21S and you'll be in heaven. If you don't want to get Klasse you can also use 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. I think this is actually the first time I've ever recommended using that stuff, but it does a decent job on red. Just don't expect it to last at all. drummerboybisch 06-14-2003, 03:50 PM Thanks Ben. What is Klasse AIO? And how do i apply it? And then the S100/P21S is the wax correct? BMWguy206 06-14-2003, 04:24 PM http://www.autogeek.net/klasal10oz1.html I apply the AIO by a PC Random Orbitor. After that I apply Detailers Pride Paint Sealant http://www.autogeek.net/detspridprem.html and some people usually top that off with S100/P21S hal9000 06-14-2003, 08:35 PM Ok Ben...here's the challenge.... Instead of using AIO, use SEC or GEPC next time...It's worth the $8.95 to experiment. I think you'll be surprised at how well it works. Not to mention, it's alot easier to remove than AIO! From what I've seen on my White M3, AIO gives a flatter shine but SEC gives a deeper/wetter shine. I'm probally going to go pure S100 tomorrow instead of AIO/S100 - SMR here I come. I wax the car often enough that I just don't need the extra protection AIO gives (hell it didn't do squat for those damn water spots I had).
