A while ago, I helped a fellow 8 owner repalce the o-rings on his injectors, well Tom replaced the o-rings but we pulled the fuel rail out. I would say at that point it gave me the confidence to take on the M70 engine.

So the story goes like this:

So I cannot tell you how important it is to not only try to come to them, but also help out other owners, the knowledge and experiences gained is priceless.

This whole process took me about 40 min all from memory, so since I am not any where near finished, I just wanted to thank Tom for his wrenchfest and TX and 8 and the others for their help.

Regards

Rob

Great post Rob! Your fuel smell post will certainly encourage some of the shy to take on tasks that will save them $$$, I was reluctant about this car until i did a Heater core, Now it's no prob, I still curse when something happens though!--)

I have only been to one wrenchfest, but I definitely want to host one when the weather cools off in AZ.

The wrenchfest was very informative, fun, and a great way for the community to get together.

On a side note: Jann, when is the next one?
