TDC - can you define the Speed & Looks catagory? are you talking about a mix between performance and aesthetics?

since you're familiar with my car and it's alterations, where would you think I would be best suited to enter? I'm thinking performance.

Are the catagory placements decided by the judges or by the owner of the car?

As with any show, the category your vehicle is placed is decided by the judges.

The judges will have detailed guidelines as to what falls under what category and in the event there is still any confusion, the BFE staff will ultimately decide which category a vehicle will be placed.

Oh, and yeah, I wasn't really feeling the title of "Speed & Looks" for that specific category. Perhaps we should just make it simple and call it "Performance & Aesthetics"?

There are a best sedan and best coupe categories, but there isn't a best cabrio category?

There haven't been enough cabrio entrants over the years to warrant one, unfortunately.

However, if we find that more convertibles are entering this year, we are open to making a category specifically for them. :)

For the time being, cabriolets are grouped together with coupes.
