Hi All,
I had a brief look at the underside of my car when on a lift, and one pipe (pictured) appears to be leaking. Do any of you know what this pipe does and what the fluid might be? I didnt have a chance to have a good look...

It's hard to tell from your pics. Make them smaller and make them include some of the surroundings. We'll be better able to help that way.

You might want to check the hoses on the gearbox. Thru the engine compartment on top of the gearbox there are 2 hoses. One hose is routed upwards on the fender-well and the second hose make a 90 degree bend and is connected to a pipe by a hose clamp. Grab the hose by the metal 90 and try to move it. If it moves its faulty. Its kinda hard to explain but if the connections at the gearbox move they leak.

FIrst thing I would do is to pressure wash (carefully!) the entire area so that you can actually see what is leaking and how bad. You may only need totighten a hose clamp, or you might have to get a new hose/gasket/crushwasher etc. It could even be the the hose isn't leaking at all - could be the oilpan gasket...
Better pics would certainly help.
