8 Series (E31) (1991 - 1997) As the last E24 rolled off the production line in 1989, its replacement was quick on its heels to fulfill the fantasies of those looking for a touring coupe with all of the luxury, performance, and prestige of a BMW, only now with both 8 and 12 cylinder engines.
Uh, didn't it go from 1989-1999?

1991-1997 for the US and the 850CSI was only imported between 1994-1995

yeah, so 89 threw 99. Shame on such a big board an error has lasted so long. Guess nobody cares about the E31 anymore :(

More plausible is that the site (generally) lists US times. Case in point, look when it states E46s started...
