My mother has a 2006 X5 3.0i. The taillight bulb has gone out, and I don't know how to get the light out to change the bulb. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

replacing bulb should be in the owners manual. gain access through rear side covers then just twist it out.

why your dealer wouldn't do this for you is a mystery...

Also, when you do get it out, take the bulb out of the connector, brush or wipe the bulb base and connector clean and reinstall. If it still doesn't work, then replace the bulb. I've saved several bulbs replacement costs just cleaning the contacts. GL!
