I just went and got the following:

Meguiars Crystal Car Wash
3M Perfect-it II (for swirl marks, is it good?)
Lexol leather conditioner (any good?)
3 microfiber towels
3 terry cloth towels
Black Magic tire cleaner

All together cost me about $40 :(.....what kind of wax should I get....i have no PC for the 3M perfect it, so I tried a bit with my hand, it does work, it reduced swirl marks by about 30-40%, I think if I use a PC i can reduce them by like 80%.....is the stuff I got ok? Thanks.

sounds good, now all you need are zaino stuff. I hosed my car down today, and the water beaded and ran off the surface so fast you'd think the car was going 100mph.

nah, I heard Zaino makes all imperfections show...I've got mad scratches and swirl marks....don't need to show em....

Good start. If you're going to pepboys might as well pick up some Meguiar's #26 Yellow wax. You can do it all by hand, it'll just take time....

go to your local harley dealer and buy a jar of s100 wax.

Nah....Put #26 on until you get as much of the scratches and swirls out.......After your done and you go "hmmmm, what else can I do to make it look better" THEN get S100 SEPC and Wax and then sit back....If you're doing it by hand, I figure you'll almost be out of #26 - in about 6 months - when you've got the car as sharp as you can. :biglaughb

Come on guys....gotta get him addicted to buying product....you're not done until you have to move things around on shelves to make room for all the car toys....

I try to stay away from my local Harley dealer as much as possible....Dont want to be associated with that in any way, shape of form.
