Has anyone gone to like a bmw driving school where they have cones set up and like different tracks? They are so much fun watching like the trainers take their M3's and just beat the crap out of them. they literally do like 2 laps and they go change their tires and put gas in it then go out and push their cars to the limit again. its so much fun their.

I just got back from the Two Day school August 2nd and 3rd. Fantastic time! We drove primarily the 550i and 335i. Not quite two laps for tire change, but they do go through alot of them. I am working on a write-up. I highly recommend the school!

I did the 1 day 3 series driving school last summer with my dad. It was great. I learned so much. Braking was actually the thing I enjoyed the most. I have a bad habit now of slamming on the brakes when my friends are in the car just to mess with them. But seriously the school is awesome. My dad and I hope to go back for the M's and we also want to send my mom and sister. I highly recommend it, its like being in an episode of Top Gear.

No form of licensing. 1100 for the one day M school and like 3700 for the 2.5 day one

Those are pretty reasonable prices, I might check it out. Where is the BMW Driving School located?

It's in Spartanburg, SC.
If you'd like something closer to the Bay Area, drop me a PM.

The BMW Performance Driving Schools are in Greer, SC, and selected other tracks. Age, experience required and cost varies based on the school you want to take. They have schools from 16 years and no experience and up.

relearntodrive.com (I can't post links...not enough posts)

or you can find the "official" link through bmwusa.com

These schools range from about $600 up to $3,400 or so.

CHECK with your local BMWCCA chapter or their website!

I just did a driving school at Putnam Park (Indianapolis) with the Windy City chapter... though i live in indy... it was freaking amazing. My instructor drove an E36 328i and just tore the track up... he would have lapped me 5 times and i was driving an E46 ///M3. If you ever have the chance JUMP ON IT.... most fun ive had in my life. BMW=love:redspot

I think it was $350 or so and your car will need a tech inspection from your mechanic.... do that well in advance to allow time for any possible repairs you may need

I went to the Performance Center in SC a few times for different events; schools, and autocrosses...had a blast, well worth the money. Often times others will let you take their bimmers for a spin as well!
