Okay, so today at work we were speaking about market research and some of these companies are jokes. For example, this one company that is trying to sell it's information to car care companies is trying to say that based on their research the major cause of swirls is......dun dun dun.......wax itself. So when asked if they meant waxing techniques (i.e. what they use to apply and remove) instead of wax itself, they said, not the wax does.
According to their research, using differentt softness of towels doesn't cause swirls and scratches. yeah right, my reply was, cool, I'll take a red shop rag to remove wax and your telling me it would not scratch more than if I used a MF. Of course they told me in this instance it the red shop rag would produce a few scratches/swirls, but not much more than a MF towel.
hahaha, these companies aren't even manufacturers, half of the people have no idea what even goes into creating a wax/polish etc, and they try to sell this information to people. The bad thing about companies like this. One published article will misinform many consumers causing problems for both consumers and car care companies. Sorry, but I had to share this, I am having a good laugh here this morning.
i am adding this to my file of the consumer report that said a straight wax (with no cleaners and polishing agents) does absolutely nothing for your paint. Yeah that was fun 5-6 years ago when that report was released. Ruined pure waxes for many companies because the misinformation caused many consumers to stop buying pure waxes unless thay had cleaners. And just think, these people get paid to spread their bs around.
