Know of any roads or parking spots or anywhere you can drive a car that over looks the city? I want to do some night shots of a city with my car, but I don't want to drive to California or Colorado.

So... anyone know any viewpoints?

Driving into Boston on Rt.2 is pretty sweet.

right in blue hills in braintree/quincy there is an over look with a clear view to boston.it's on the back side going into milton......with a mild zoom lens it will be perfect.

There is a spot on the right of RT 2 (heading OUT of Boston) it is in the arlington hills on a road near RT 2. A little driving and you should be able to find it. A hint: the street is a hill with a park on the furthest away from RT 2.

Get on one of the night time harbor cruises. Great views of the city from the water.

Go to South Boston near the Boston Convention center. There are spots especially near the bridge to the fancy condos. You can catch the Bunker Hill bridge from there too. Try Memorial drive on the Cambridge side near the MIT... great views of the city and you are parked along the Charles River.
