Well, after a year of planning and research the time is finally here...with an official date and name!

Midwest Meet and Drive 2008 (or MMD for short)

What is it? A BMW only meet and drive in Nashville, IN open to all models of BMWs. Any series, any year, bring it out and show it off!

When is it? Sunday August 31st at 1:00pm (Note: Indiana time zone if rolling in from another state)

Where is it? Historic Nashville, Indiana at the Public Parking area located on East Washington street 2 blocks from SR 135. Meet will last from 1:00PM til 6:00PM. There are ~112 parking spots in the lot and I intend to use every one of them. Groups can depart/return the lot through the day and drive what can only be described as an AMAZING stretch of road located less than a mile from the lot. The elevation changes are plentiful, the turns are tight, and the scenery is beautiful.

Sounds good, you should post this on the other boards (maybe you already have). I know a lot of people just hang out mostly on their car or series specific boards.

I hope to make it, we shall see. Indy peeps should caravan and meet up somewhere. We could even meet up at C&C before.

Yep, sorry...didnt know you were lookin for one?

The plan was to get out of that car and into a TSX, or something similar.

But with the prices of E36 M3's right now I'd like to scoop one of those up and toy with it for awhile.

I didn't see a soul. I sat at the gas station on the corner of 135 and 46 for like 1 1/2 hours. The BMW I saw was that Z4 but it was on the other side of town. There was def. a shit-ton of people out. Tourists and such..... but nobody in a bimmer. And the fact that no one has checked in this thread, I'm guessin no one went. Oh well....guess it could have been fun! There really is a lot of nice roads down there. I tried to make the best of them.

I am the OP.

I would like to apologize for not getting back into this thread and closing it. ALL of my time in that past 3 weeks has been consumed with dumping an insane amount of money/time into this E30 to bring it up to fully operational since I sold my E46.

Yes.

I need a black glove box, an iS cluster, and a passenger side window motor to name a few.

Have you been to Reggie's Motorwerks in Westfield? All he does is work on e30s. Parts them out, restores them, maintenence them. He always has extra part layin around. He had like 7 or 8 clusters on a shelf the last time I was there to give you an idea. I'll see if I can find his number if you're interested.

He's located in Westfield off of U.S.32 across from the higschool baseball field and next to some karate dojo.

I shot him an email asking for prices awhile back, he responded with them immediately. When I responded back telling him what I wanted to come pick up I never heard back.
