I drove an X6 with the new twin turbo today, as far as balls out accelleration I was kind of disappointed. It definately pulls better than the 4.8 but I was expecting more.

my opinion is that the x6 is ugly...

I test drove the XDrive 50i and I can say that it squirts out of the twisties onto the straight aways. It's definitely quick for a 5000 lb gorilla.

What blows me away is:

13mpg CITY
18mpg HWY

That means you'll average MAYBE 15mpg. Doesn't seem very practical today. That is worse than a lot of SUV's out there now...
