View Full Version : Who's going to Roosevelt Field Mall meet with B&Btriflo? ClintonM3 06-10-2003, 12:30 AM I might be getting a used one. Please identify yourself if you are going to be there and you have B&B triflo. ClintonM3 06-11-2003, 04:54 PM Nevermind, just bought a used one. Only heard sound files. Oh well, if i dont like it, you'll see it in the classified section soon. tdc 06-11-2003, 07:55 PM I've heard the B&B Tri-flo on an E36 M3 and it is positively BEASTLY!! Not sure if that is what you were looking for but be prepared for some serious exhaust tone. Will you have it installed by Saturday? ducky 06-11-2003, 08:36 PM If you don't like it I'll take it :D ClintonM3 06-11-2003, 10:44 PM no, nothing will be ready by saturday. I just bought a hardtop, a hardtop kit, B&B, from a guy i know locally. Also getting a V1 stealth install next week. The kit is not going to be here till monday. I have to install it, pick up the top, bring it to the paint shop and get it painted. The exhaust, he offered me as like a package thing. I figure I'd give it a try, if not, hey I already got interest from ducky. here's a sound file http://www.europeancarweb.com/tech/0301ec_soundclip04.mp3 ClintonM3 06-13-2003, 04:02 PM Ok, I will have the exhaust installed saturday morning. You will hear me coming as I turn onto Meadowbrook Pkwy. tdc 06-13-2003, 04:16 PM  Funny thing is, we probably WILL! ClintonM3 06-16-2003, 06:18 PM Well, the triflo will be coming off. Call me whipped and haze me now, but my girlfriend absolutely hated it. As for myself, I have no problem with it when the top is down, I expect to hear road noise, wind noise, and etc. But when the top is up, at slow speed, below 2000rpm, it gets pretty bassy. The sound is very good at 2500rpm plus at WOT. Probably the most bad ass exhaust I've heard. It is just too much bass and deep tone for me, my girlfriend and my condo neighbours as I have to drive at the speed limit of 15mph (below 2000rpm) into the condo. Ducky, you got first dip, you want it? I know you mentioned 3-4 weeks, what would it take for you to take it now. It has 2100 miles, pretty much brand new. BTW - you got lost on your way to Roosevelt field or what? ducky 06-16-2003, 08:14 PM Originally posted by ClintonM3 Ducky, you got first dip, you want it?
