I'm putting together a multi-car meet at Andretti Speedlabs in late July, most likely the 27th. We've have one last May of 2002 and one in January 2003. Both very successful. Since I joined here, everyone is cool as a fan so come represent your rides! It's a meet and greet, not a show, no fees or trophies or anything. Just meet other car enthusiests.

Could anyone score me a license at Andretti's to ride the carts, or will that not work? I hate having to pay an extra whatever it is to get a "license" to drive their carts.

I'll show you guys how to REALLY do some driving if I do. I can even use some choice phrases my instructor imparted to me this weekend like, "the party line is bullshit!" and "as soon as you stop pussyfootin' around T12 we can start having some real fun!" as I smoke yo' ass around the course. :D

I live off 120 near Johnsons Ferry. You live in Alpharetta so it might ba a bit out of your way. Isn't Andretii Speedlab in Alpharetta, it takes me about 30 minutes to get there.

OK well I see that a few of you are a little confused about the details so I will fill you in. It IS a multi car meet hosted by SELOC South Eastern Lexus Owners Club. It will be the 27th of July, we have a 10% off discount at Fuddruckers for attendees. We have Supras, G35s, vettes, Acuras, And WRX's coming and coming DEEP. And of course BMW. This is going to be a fun and exciting event to meet other car enthusiasts in Georgia and are glad to have you guys attend. Long time no see, sorry I didn't make it to the get together at your house (had a show downtown). Actually, I modify M3's, get bored with them, and get a new project. I'm thinking $450 is fair for it as it goes for $659 new plus shipping, and it already has the silencer tips which are $25 extra... Not sure though, I may just give it to my brother.

I think you'll lose low-end torque with that M50 manifold on your car. Do a search in the E36 M3 forum, as there are several posts on that topic.

You will gain up top, but it might not be worth the low-end loss.

with some sort of software the torque loss is not noticeable, and some UUC pullies will give you the low end torque back. Its actually supposed to flow more than a Schrick manifold (reason it loses torque down low) I have a obd1 manifold, but I dont know if I should get the complete kit from eurospeed.

Ron, us 3.2L guys don't have the wimpy low end of you 3.0L guys, so we can give up a lil' to get more high end without much drama. :D

I say go for it Marco. I'm starting to think about mods to get more top end as well. You can never have enough power, only not enough driver.

Def, I am installing a UNICHIP setup for my car along w/ Shrick Cam, HFM & M50 manifold along w/ my existing intake, UDP ( crank), exhaust, I should be pushing over 250 rwhp ( little over 300 @ the fly wheel ) So no more losing low-end torque. I have somehow discover a way to stay OBD II, and yet prevent adaptation from happening. Call me if you want to know more detail

If you keep the stock DME you will get adaption, no other way around it. The Unichip is a powerful tool, but something inside of me just doesn't really like it all that much since you're fighting the DME instead of just putting in a better brain and working with that.

Have you thought about a TEC3 or something like that? Would probably make more power, have slightly better driveability and just be easier to tune IMO. You could just swap in your stock DME to get smogged. Shouldn't trip a code just cruising to the smog station and back. Will run a bit lean, but that's a good thing for emissions!

Besides, don't they just check the OBD2 port and not even bother with a sniffer in ATL?
