View Full Version : NuFinish Car Polish??? m3bro 06-08-2003, 06:08 PM Does anyone have any opinions on this stuff??? I got it as a gift and I don't wan to use it if it is going to F my paint job up. Clyde:cool: hal9000 06-08-2003, 08:10 PM It's not going to "hurt" your paint per say, but it's not the best product in the world...IIRC, it's a cleaner wax and pretty much they're useless. Not the most durable and they stain mouldings. Use it on a beater or a car you're not willing to put 2 or 3 passes of product on. I think clarity on it sucks - meaning not the clearest reflection so on a darker car, it'll make a difference and durability's about 3 weeks. m3bro 06-08-2003, 10:35 PM The bottle says it will last 1 year and my car is Cosmo Black but I don't want to risk using something that really adds no value to protecting the car or paint. ( I use Zymol wax which has been great!) Clyde:pityfool: Ben Carufel 06-08-2003, 11:31 PM Yeah, ditch the NuFinish. I used to use it every now and then on lower body panels, but that was before I started using Klasse. SilverStreak 06-09-2003, 05:37 PM NuFinish is for the lazy man, easy on, easy off, half-assed protection, etc... Better than nothing, but by no means what you want to do, if you have the time for a real detail... Ben Carufel 06-09-2003, 05:40 PM Gosh Dave, is there an echo in here? Sometimes I wonder why you moderate this forum... JUST KIDDING! :D ;) :mdrbig :redspot SilverStreak 06-09-2003, 05:42 PM Watch it Ben, or I'll edit all yoru posts here to read "I like small boys." ;) Ben Carufel 06-09-2003, 05:44 PM Aww, dammit, I forgot that you have that power. I like small boys... :devillook :laugh SilverStreak 06-09-2003, 05:45 PM  abakos 06-09-2003, 06:02 PM   :lol3: :lol3:  Ben Carufel 06-09-2003, 06:10 PM  :complain :bawl :emo |
