lately i haven't been able to get any races with any mustang GTs....the drivers just never seem to want to race, but are more than willing to od a rice fly by. tonight i got my revenge
i've been seeing this girl in covina and i left her place at approx 6:50 PM getting on the the 10 heading west...i met the first GT there.
it was a black GT(looked like an 01 i guess?) wiht a 20s driver, the guy gives me a disapproving nod and tries to run away. i come after him in 3rd(we started at 70mph) abuot asplit second after he takes off and i reel him in. by the time we hit 115 i have a length anda half, flash te blinkers, and shut it down.....driver gives me the fly by...eh
then about 15 minutes later going south on the 605
i see another GT, this time it's a red one. the driver looks like he's in his teens, looks over, and has the expression on his face saying (you can't touch this). he takes off and i give chase. we start at about 60 and are nose to nose till i finish 3rd, then 4th comes and go till about 110, again i pulled like a length and the driver looks totally astonished.
the last race happened on PCH after i got off on the 110. this guy driving a previous gen GT comes and rides my azz for about a minute. then he pulls over and cuts me off. this is in moderate traffic and i'm getting irritated. the next light, we are both head to head, and no one's there. i didn't want to launch my car too hard so i thought i wouldn't slip it too much, so i revved to 2k and slipped it at the light and we were off. end of 1st i've already pulled a length, shift into second and again pull 2-3 lengths and he just getting way back there so i flash the hazards and slow down for traffic. a winner is me :D
the first two races happened in light traffic where there were openings on the freeways with no cars straight ahead for the time we acclerated....i was kind of cautious about racing as i just got a speeidng ticket a couple months ago and i'm trying to avoid them(no v1 yet) but am definitely a happy ///M owner tonight.
