89 325i, 5 spd, 130k and documented via carfax for dealer services every 5k since new :eek:

runs 100%, pulls hard, some rust but a very very very solid car and a blast to drive. so much different than my e46, much lighter and a better driving car IMO. the e46 feels like a BOAT after driving this.

anyways, here's some pics, i'm in the market for some e30 parts now (namely a radio antenna and an ashtray, and an OBC and some black floor mats right off the bat) if anyone has anything let me know!!

the antenna is a waste of time, they break easy. i just unpluged mine and left it in the down position and i still get reception when i forget my ipod

Yeah I don't know much about these, I tried my g/f's tape adapter for the ipod and got static through that as well. :(

And I'm not sure which OBC I have I didn't count the buttons, I was too busy driving and enjoying the sound of the engine. What a car. Will any OBC plug right in? The one i have right now is to the right of the radio and the pixles are just going nuts all the time. :(

I looked through the "cleanout the garage" thread, I must have the 13 OBC bc i know I dont have the 6, i can remember more buttons than that off the top of my head.

I'll take tan or black floormats, do you have anything else I mentioned?

Really really trying to just buy used/cheap stuff for this as it will mainly be my beater while my e46 relaxes in the garage. :alright

the 13 has little lights on some of the buttons, i never use my obc since my aftermarket radio has a clock. nhskibm, got any tan mats for sale? i got the backs its just the fronts i need (came with these weird clear ones, eeek)


if mine ever gets running again, e30 meet since were getting a nice amount of e30s in the NE section now

I think I have an anthrazit set of mats - I know I have a set in the touring that someone can have (when I get it back) as I want to get new mats for the Touring... (unless they clean up REALLY well).

I don't have tan mats.

I was thinking of replacing my antenna in my iX with a new one - so I might have that soon as well - it only goes halfway up so I'd let it go for free.

I don't have a 13 button OBC, but often times you can replace the bulbs on it. And the weird scramble thing happens with all of them. Just keep hitting buttons until it goes away.

I also have a set of steelies with snows that someone has dibs on here on this forum, but if that falls through I was looking for $100 for the set - and the steelies have the OE 'snowcaps'.

I have some turn signals, fog lights, steering wheels, about 3 clusters, and assorted other radom parts in the basement. Couple sets of front seats...

A decent set of snows and your e30 will be a little tank on slick roads. I recommend Blizzak WS-50s ...

look at it this way...

I've been eyeing 2002's for sale... let me tell you that to get one in decent shape you are looking at $5000 AT LEAST. if you want a tii and round tail lighs you are looking $10k

A year ago - $500 fixer-upers could be found...

The E21 - not as hot in demand, but prices for a decent one is $1000-$4000 (and that is for one that isn't special).

An E30 - looking at about the same $1000-$4000 to get one that is decent...

However you watch, in the next 3-5 years you will see the same thing with the E21 and E30 that you are seeing with 2002's - the gap between the rust bucket and the nice example will become greater...

Today you can still get a nice $1200 E30 - like Sam did... next year, the year after????

I say get it now... I'm a believer that a properly maintained and immaculate looking E30 is no longer a depreciating car. I think the value has leveled out... Each month I believe my iX and certainly my Touring increases in value. Watch Ebay - you'll see. Can you say the same about an E36???

Eric's car - maybe because of what it is - 1995 no sunroof, m car with m seats... a regular E36 M3???
