Problem is there is no engine in the car, so it needs to be somewhere close that I can tow it to.

Yea, I got a little fire pit in the backyard if you need to make a deposit.

I am pulling the AC out of my car so the new engine will fit, and I need to get rid of all of the r12 that is still in the system. Sorry for the confusion.

it's illeagal to do so but just let it out into the air..other wise you would need a recovery machine to suck it all out.

R12 is like wicked bad for the Ozone layer.. bring it to any local shop that does A/c that can evac it for you, if you ever want to refill it they just put in R134A with different high low connectors. but PLEASE dont let the R12 into the atmo!!

I would but I like my air clean. Is there anything that I could get to store it in to bring to somewhere that gets rid of it?

just let it out the high side into the air. I love clean air too. But your r12 is not any worse than the giant diesel trucks that drive around and all the other stuff f' in up the ozone layer. Don't make it harder than it needs to be.

You should cut hole in your firewall so you can take the entire AC system out without disconnecting anything... ;)

Its the radiator looking thing that I cant get out, I can disconnect it from the firewall no problem. And don't you have a truck to be working on? ;)
