Well my brand new e92 335i just came in today and I am getting used to the car and putting stuff in it from my previous e46 325i. My question is what are those slots in the center console next to the cooled cup holder? are the slots for spare change or are they for ventilation? I don't want to put change in the thing if it's not meant for it. Couldn't find anything in the manual about it...thanks!

Yeah they are change holders, but I found they only hold quarters!

I put my change in the door compartments that tilt in/out. The very small compartment furthest back holds random change well...and the 'felt' prevents noise.

my 07 doesnt have felt in the side pockets and i hate it

I forgot that we had a change holder in our cars. I haven't opened the center compartment in so long. :D
