WTF is the extended leather as opposed to the normal leather??? why is it 2k from the factory?!

Extended leather covers more of the door area and the underparts of the dash (i.e. the knee bolsters and glove box area). I believe it also comes with an extened leather part on the center console.

Extended leather includes the bottom part of the dash and the center console. The $2k price also includes the standard leather, so the difference if you get premium package is $1,100.
