Now that my coworker (RedStar24o) has his car back we're going to have a meet/cruise this saturday. Meet at my shop: AVA Restoration Services in Dublin, NH at 11am and then drive west on some of the best driving roads in So. NH.

See ya there!

Bump, I can't believe no one is going to this. OH by any chance do you have a polisher/buffer at your shop? I really want to take off this painted pinstripe and I don't have the balls to buff it out myself.

I might be up for it. I gotta see what I am up to on Sat.

If anyone wants to meet the caravan part way (which means missing some of the fun) they could meet us along the way. PM me for a phone number.

Also, if you come, bring a two-way radio if you have one, it makes staying together and cop-spotting easier.

Toyed with idea but need to finish some bodywork on my four door. What roads are you planning on tooling around on? Rt 9 and some of the larger secondaries? Or mostly back roads? Stops on the way for lunch or swiming in a local swiming hole?

They are awesome. My brother and I use them on trips to Volvo meets in CT. So fun to talk to truckers. I have to see how I am going to hook it up in the E30 though.

The swap car, so much more fun in the warm weather!

It doesn't seem like many people are going. Which is not a big deal to me, and not going to stop me from going, but is anyone planning on coming from MA?

It's like an hour and 40 minute drive for me.

There are three local-ish E30s and one Porsche 951 confirmed so far...

Small will be good when we go for a drive though.

I might come up from West Springfield. Was gonna hang out with a friend of mine in Manchester later in the day. I wanted to get my scrap metal taken care of prior to this but something else came up today.

I'm in Lynnfield. So that works fine for me.

My car is kind of on it's last leg. Making a long drive, and then going on a cruise is asking a lot of my car. So when it comes to the cruise I might wanna ride shot gun with someone depending on how my car is running.

Feel free to ride with me. But my car isn't that fast if thats what you want. My suspension is amazing though. Just finished and went for the test drive.

Well, there's always my s50 car and my friend's 400hp Porsche... I think we'll try and behave though, I'm working on picking a route than can be fun without doing stupid shit.

Ok, just bumping this up before I go to bed. I'm going to try and get to the shop a little early so I can bleed my brakes out, I somehow managed to boil my fluid on my evening commute...:devillook

I may have an extra 2-way you can use, I'll look.

I haven't set a cruise route yet, it will be heading east from my shop towards Manchester probably but beyond that nothing is solid. I've heard tale of a potential bbq out near lowell so maybe we'll just play it by ear and see where we feel like going.

Guys, I have to sit this one out. I just got home. I was in a car accident. I was a passenger in a friends car. Not the bimmer thank god. I'm ok, but I think I want to stay home tomorrow.

If this becomes a regular thing, I definitely up for it. Have fun!

I can't make it today. Tried to wake up, but I am still pretty drunk. And last night I did a donut to celebrate being done with the suspension and a wire came undone out of the trunk. And the wire is still a bit iffy. I don't want to risk being stranded on the highway without Kev. Thanks though, and next time I will definitely be there.

I was out due to power here in Hotel went out last night so no alarm clock. Plus my kart is still on the roof of the M.

Needed a second body to help lift it off.

Haha. It's the domino effect. I skip out, and everyone else does. Damn. If you guys do it again, I will definitely come up. I love going for cruises, even if it's only a couple cars.

We had three e30s and a 400hp 951. We cruised (rather spiritedly) for an hour or so and then parked at the "Dublin Days" car show which consisted of us, and my boss's 633CSI Callaway. All in all a success in my mind, small though it may have been. Next time we won't have the fun of the car show but it will certainly be fun to cruise and hang out!
