It's been on craigslist for quite some time and is listed as a 98 318Ti manual. Has anyone looked at it? Is it a basketcase or been in an accident?
Thanks

i'm completely afraid of buying cars off of craigslist. there's a bunch of silver e36 m3's in providence that i'm tempted to look at, but i can't imagine they're worth it.

Why?
I have bought quite a few this way. Most of the time they are below normal prices but sometimes they are the other way.
Heck I bought my M3 of of DC's craigslist. I have bought about 4 other E30's this way.

Nothing wrong with advertising on a FREE website which gets lot of traffic. The business just want to get people in the door to check out their prices and cars. There are plenty of honest sellers on CL and some scam artists. Even ebay have scammers even though they are a PAID website.

i'm not worried about the scammers, i'm worried about the people too cheap to take care of their car

Realise that just don't want to venture 200 miles to check out a basketcase if some one local had looked at it. I am looking for a replacement for my sorta cummuter car.
Need something get reasonable fuel economy and is a BMW, dislike fwd ecoboxes for the most part. Besides later it can be stuck with a M/S variant.
