The final drive ratio in the six speed is the same as in the csi or is it not?

I lost 1 mpg with the headlights up in the rain vs the same road at the same speed in the same bunch of cars 5 minutes earlier in the dry. These were both "Instant" readings done over a couple of miles each. Of course it was raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock and traffic just stayed at a steady 75 or I wouldn't have had to turn the lights on :(
To answer the question--the lights would be too low reach very far if relocated in the FTP bar. If you just drive in the city with lots of street lights that may not be a bad thing. If you drive a lot of two lane roads with moderate oncoming traffic it might not be a really good thing.
With some of todays small but very bright HID low beam projectors it could work out OK too. Aim would be critical so a full self leveling system would be nice to not blind old farts like me :)
