I am doing the NYBMWCCA DE in a few weeks and I need to make some hotel reservations. Just wondering if anyone has some recommendations...:dunno

If you're feeling flush and want to spend a couple extra bucks, spend 'em here.

Most clubs (BMW or Porsches) stay at the SENECA LODGE (607) 535-2014. It has a lot of history with drivers at The Glen.
It is the closest one to the track. Check with your club if they negotiated a discount. http://www.senecalodge.com

It is usually $63 for two double beds or $68 for two queen beds.
The rooms are basic but clean and it is a nice park/forest settings. Lots of parking at the back if you need to do something on your car a night before. It suppose to be very close to a public swimming pool.

It is also close by to the restaurant for breakfast that opens very early (I can try to find the name if you needed).

The best address you will find for it is: OLD CORNING ROAD (new name is Walnut Rd), ROUTE 329. There is no street number for this lodge.

Stay at the Seneca Lodge, they have a decent bar with tons of motorsport memorabilia and a good looking bartender, not to mention you can drink heavily and walk to your room.

Savards (which is where I used to eat brakfast) is closed due to a fire, so Burger King is your other option as well as a diner in Montour Falls (a mile south of town).
