I have a 2003 525i (e39) and I desperately need your help! Since November of last year my entire stereo system stopped working. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif I posted a thread about this in the e39 section on bimmerfest.com, but didn't get too many responses. Based on what I had typed there, it would be beneficial to know once and for all if in fact it is that specific part that's causing all this mess to occur. Just as the title states, it would be nice if I can meet up with anyone who has a navi to test it out. Other than that, if anyone else can point me toward the right direction, i'd be more than elated.
Here is what another e39 owner told me in the e39 section: "Apart from the E39, a few other models used the same tuner, so you can widen your search for one. It's possible it could be your amp as well." By "a few other models" he meant e53 among others.

P.S. the title should read e53, not e46. Sorry bout that.
