Just got the car back from the shop yesterday and had to post a quick pic-LOTS of work done to finally bring her up to spec and I'll be excited to finish things up over the next couple of weeks.

I was torn between an E31 or and E36/8 as my first BMW. I love just being rare. I ended up with an E36/8 but I will own an E31 one day.

Looks great! What spring package do you have/run?

I'm actually running the H&R/Bilstein combo - (and contrary to other folks' experience she doesn't sag in the rear-although I'm starting to...)
The color is Mauritius Blue and is stock, although I did have the roof painted black.
Great shop-Chad is one of those guys you could send your Mom over to see and he'd take great care of her (car).
300E? - Wasn't that the Hammer?

Awesome! The Bilsteins in the rear will raise the butt a little (so as to somewhat offset the too-low sag of the rear H&R's). Your car looks amazing!!

I don't know about the 714/949, but watch out for those front plate tickets. Especially when you park your car in a public metered place. The Parking Violations go-karts are very very quick on the draw here in Los Angeles :( I wish that I could roll w/o a front plate, but it's simply not possible in L.A. The cops and the parking violations enforcement idiots are ultra-vigilant. The 8 is not meant to have a front plate IMO. Oh well, such is life in plastic surgery disaster orange suntan face LA-LA Land.

Just a set of Magnaflows - can't remember the # off the top of my head - with a custom X-pipe. (Very rumbly-if that's actually a word...)
