View Full Version : Complete E31 Newb Question: Removing the LKM? Auraraptor 07-08-2008, 12:58 AM How does one remove the LKM? The LKM is located up under the driver's side dash, about where thheadlight switch is. You need to remove the lower kick panel and look up. There you will see the EKM, the General Module, and the LKM. The LKM is the one with the black and white connector on it. These modules are snapped into a "triple-carrier" and you will need both hands to unsnap it. The connectors slide to the side and then pull. It get's easier once you have done it a couple of times. ...any more questions?? Auraraptor 07-08-2008, 01:08 AM being a contortionist helps somewhat. I can't seem to find any sensor akin to the E38's... 8eights 07-08-2008, 01:15 AM If all is there, You'll know!
