I've given up on this stupid screw in the edge of the tread. I can't plug it because of where it is located. It's such a slow leak that I can go 3-4 days before I fill it back up, but it's a pain in the ass.

My car and the original tires only have 13k miles, so I've got to find a replacement, hopefully cheap. I took a leave of absence when I moved to Florida, so I have to go back to work when I the money I set aside is gone. When they all wear out, I'll get a different set. Maybe the Firestone Firehawks.

What tire was OEM on your car, the Dunlop 8080's, Pilot Sports, etc??? :dunno

I put a plug in it myself, then cut off both ends of the plug and put a patch on the inside of it too. Now's it double covered. I rotated front to back, so in a few months I'll be calling you to order a set of 4. Going to put a few more thousand miles on these and start working again, then I can blow some money.
