View Full Version : New X5 Owner!! MPDano 07-05-2008, 06:12 PM Well, my wife is anyways. All I gotta say is "WOW!" Tried to post pictures but denied due to Newbie status. toplessinokc 07-05-2008, 07:27 PM Welcome, my wife likes hers too. What year, type, and options did you get? radelow 07-05-2008, 09:20 PM I just bought one in San Diego too MPDano. What did you get and where'd you get it? MPDano 07-05-2008, 09:29 PM 2004, X5 Premium Options. Not sure what that came with, but plenty for us. We got our locally from a private party here in El Cajon. MPDano 07-05-2008, 09:30 PM We got the 3.0 for gas mileage. 4.4 would have been bitchen but poor on gas. radelow 07-06-2008, 12:38 PM Well congrats! It is a buyers market on these things so I am sure you got a great deal! Welcome to the board and enjoy your new BMW!!! MPDano 07-06-2008, 12:45 PM Thank you sir! Yup, I think we got a smokin deal. Today is the Julian trip day to see how well it handles in Hwy 78 curves, then some Julian Apple Pie and Ice Cream! radelow 07-06-2008, 01:08 PM Nice!!! Enjoy the car. I am in love with my X5. I should have bought one years ago... streetsoffire 07-08-2008, 05:25 PM Yes. MPDano 07-08-2008, 11:59 PM Does your 2004 X5 have the BMW Moblie Phone in it? I was looking in the manuals and it seems as if you need their phone in order to use the hands free built into the X5. Is this true? radelow 07-10-2008, 04:10 AM My 2005 has bluetooth built in and my Crackberry works perfectly with it... euro96 07-14-2008, 04:37 PM We got the 3.0 for gas mileage. 4.4 would have been bitchen but poor on gas. i'm looking at 2004+ X5's and while its true that 2000-2003 4.4's get poor mileage, the 2004 4.4 get really good mileage for its size the epa for 3.0's: 16/21 the epa for 4.4's: 16/22 the 4.4 will still obviously be more to maintain, but gas mileage is very close |
