2004, X5 Premium Options. Not sure what that came with, but plenty for us. We got our locally from a private party here in El Cajon.

We got the 3.0 for gas mileage. 4.4 would have been bitchen but poor on gas.

Thank you sir! Yup, I think we got a smokin deal. Today is the Julian trip day to see how well it handles in Hwy 78 curves, then some Julian Apple Pie and Ice Cream!

Does your 2004 X5 have the BMW Moblie Phone in it? I was looking in the manuals and it seems as if you need their phone in order to use the hands free built into the X5. Is this true?

My 2005 has bluetooth built in and my Crackberry works perfectly with it...

i'm looking at 2004+ X5's and while its true that 2000-2003 4.4's get poor mileage, the 2004 4.4 get really good mileage for its size

the epa for 3.0's: 16/21
the epa for 4.4's: 16/22

the 4.4 will still obviously be more to maintain, but gas mileage is very close
