Hey guys. This is in the 3 and Z car FS forum, but a local sale is ideal. I'm in PA, not far from any of you!
I have a 1992 BMW 318i sedan for sale. Here are the details:
- e36 chassis
- 240,000 miles
- Mauritius Blue Metallic/ Tan "leather"
- Sunroof, Sedan
- 40% or so tread left on tires
- "Custom" sagging headliner, tear in driver's seat!!
This is a perfect DD or "autox learner" car. It has 240,xxx miles on it, and I am selling it as is. When parked, the car ran fine. Here is the story.
I had this car in one of our lots, and miraculously, the key is now missing. I picked this car up to play around with, and had all intentions to fix it up to make it a DD, until the key disappeared. I've gotten too busy to play with cars right now, so I just want to get rid of it. The car ran when parked, and is sold as is.
I can either sell it without a key for cheap, or I can get one made for 200$ The car has a salvage title, which would be an reconstructed title after the sale. IT WAS NEVER IN AN ACCIDENT, but it was impounded and essentially abandoned (not by me,) so through a huge paperwork process i recovered a Salvage title, which upon inspection would become a reconstructed PA title.
It's really not in bad shape, especially for a beater. It can either be fixed up to make a nice beater, or it would make a great parts car for any e36 sedan.
EDIT: Also, if you have AAA Plus, I'll gladly deliver it up to 100 miles. We can also work out someting otherwise! Car is in Eastern PA, 2.5 hours from NYC, half hour from Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Reading. 1 Hour from Harrisburg.
I'm looking to get $1150 for the car running with a key, or $1000 without. Price is BEST OFFER PM ME IF INTERESTED.
