I have a serious brake dust problem on my wheels, how can I remove them? These is brake dust from racing brakes (hawk blue) pads. How to prevent it from happening again?

I've tried a number of spray-on brake cleaners and so far the one that works best is the Castrol Superclean wheel cleaner. I spray it on, let it sit a minute, then use a soft wheel brush and it gets all the brakedust off, even after a two week buildup.

The best way to keep brakedust from getting out of hand is to clean the wheels immediately after an event (but only when they're cold), and to not let brakedust accumulate. If brakedust gets wet it sticks to the wheels big time so keeping the wheels clean at all times reduces your chances of this happening. If my brakedust ever gets wet i clean the wheels immediately.

Just powdercoat your wheels black so the dust doesn't show up :D
