Need some help from the Mini crowd... I know someone selling a 1999 Rover powered fuel injected mini left hand drive from England (blue w. white top). it's only got 12K original miles on it. What is a fair price? She's asking $10K. It is about a 7.5 out of 10, and needs some electrical work done (coil pack, gauges...etc) I had some of this priced out at around a grand. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for one, and have been watching eBay and the forums. That seems like a "optimistic" price....not bad, but I've seen better cars for that $ lately. Oh, and yes, it can be a '99, sort of.....

If you don't buy it, PM me and let me know, I may be interested....

Here is an interesting car (http://www.miniguy.com/Consign1?id=1f07bfcf20a954e7bf182fe4b6cff0c5) to compare it with:
Makes the other one look a little high...

Here is one on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=010&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=200233743125&rd=1) that caught my eye:

These cars are all over the place in price, but also very readily available.

No carb man, it is a 1999.. I have seen the paperwork..
Read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mini , they were made until 2000 like this in the UK with a fuel injected Rover 1275cc engine. This one was imported to the states in 2000.

I agree, hard to find a solid price market on these things, and there are so many in different condition... If I don;t get it I wil for sure let you know. The silver one is nice, I saw that one earlier today...

If it is in good condition I would consider it.
