Anyone know of a good (but relatively inexpensive) place to paint/powdercoat my DSIIs in Nassau County LI? I got an estimate at a place near me for $137 a wheel, which is a little (note: a lot) over my budget. I was hoping to find a place that can do it for under $100 a wheel. I've heard of people getting their wheels powdercoated and clear-coated for as cheap as 80 bucks a pop. I don't necessarily need them to be extra-perfect ultra-show quality with 9 coats of clearcoat, just a nice once over sand job, minor curb rash fix, powder coat and 2 coats of clear.

Any places? Thanks in advance!

to tell you the truth man the price you found is the going rate. anything cheeper is gonna be someone doing it out of there garage at home. i have nevrr heard of anyone doing it for less that 100 a rim and they only do 100 a rim if you have all 4 done .

Yeah of course i'd be doing all 4 (maybe even the spare if the price is right).

(flame suit on)
I'm friends with a few of the VW boys and they rave about places that powdercoat for $65 a rim, one even said they got their RS's done for $47 a pop. $47!!!
