Hey guys... my moms X5 started crappin out on her the other day. She was driving up the hill to our house and she said it wasnt getting any power. My dad took it out today and he said it goes great til 5 grand and wont rev any higher?? what do you think

Limp mode is when the car doesn't allow you to rev past a certain RPM when it detects a major problem. You should have a check engine light with that, though.
