So I'm going to get a nice clutch type LSD for the Z and was wondering who you guys suggest I have install it. I'd rather stay in the Hoover to Alabaster corridor or on 280 somewhere and not go downtown. Let me know...thanks.

While it doesn't seem that hard to install the diff internals I worry about the shimming required (should it even need it) and getting something out of spec and causing big problems down the road. I'd rather I had someone I could blame if something goes wrong haha.

Have you tried the Nissan dealer just for shits and grins, I think they are checked out on installing the ones sold through the dealers by Nismo aren't they?
Other than that I'd call Stephens Garage and ask him who he recommends on this side of town.
We could always do it ourselves....with beer all things are possible.

I did check the dealer...they wanted full retail for the LSD itself and then 8 hours ($800 bucks) for labor. My buddy had his installed by KAAZ USA in 2 hours. It's plug and play and the dealer is a rip off obviously charging full book and then some for something that takes 2 - 3 hours.
