I wish - there is still a lot ahead. I could pull my WG spring out and do WOT, but thats no fun. I have a 17.5 psi spring in the wastegate, which means bigger than 42# injectors... which means sequential fuel... which means DTA Pro S80 ECU... and 1600 cc injectors :) There's still more to do!

I am probably going to have Schimmel Performance help on it as I don't have a lift nearby and quite honestly after doing the exhaust once and having it too low, I'll get his help as he's done some crazy stuff before.

It'll be a 4" exhaust with a single magnaflow muffler

I dunno guys - a PT76GTS won't regulate down to 5 psi easily at all. I don't think its worth the risk over over boosting. Theres nothing wrong with breaking in the motor the way I intend. It'll be some boost naturally as you can't keep it from boosting, but it won't be crazy. I'll talk to some people. Right now I can't imagine getting on it WOT because of how loud is it, so I need to remedy that first.

With your baddass exhaust manifold and engineered wastegate exit strategy, I don't think you will have a problem at 5psi. My car held 5psi fine and never overboosted.

Definitely get the exhaust sorted soon and PC that bitch plus do a sick PC rad cover. Engine bay will have the complete pimp factor then. :smoke3 :pimpflash

I agree, 5psi spring and break it in. My grandparents who live on a farm always tell me when it comes down to it, break a motor in the way you want it to run. Break it in hard and she'll run hard. This is coming from people who broke in a 454 chevy hard in the mid 80's and that truck still breaks transmissions after 300,000+ miles (the odo stopped counting at 32x,xxx miles)

Roman, theres nothing wrong with how I intend to break my motor in. I am not babying it at < 2000 rpm as you can see in my video. Thats the first mile on the car and I was over 3800 rpm. Rings are going to seat, and bearings are going to break in. In fact, our engine builder is of the mindset that the rings are seated within the first 50 rpm. I believe it.

Its sure easy to say "Ohhh just run a 5 psi spring and beat the living shit out of it" when it isn't yours.

I agree with the rings statement. I'm sure it will break in awesome however you do it :)

Tons of methods - I am just going to drive mine like I would if it had 4k miles on it - ordinary, not abusive, not weak-footed, just normal.

Just don't hold the RPM at a constant level while you're breaking it in. (I'm sure you know that)
