I wanna see some bimmers damnit One good place to see modded Bimmers is the L.A. Chapter BMW CCA Autocrosses. We typically have over 60 cars there, most of which are being driven rather briskly. segal3 05-29-2003, 02:03 AM And it's these blatant plugs that force me to arrive earlier for every one :D Suspension - Being installed Monday. Randy - Drive my car :D ~Matt Segal randywalters 05-29-2003, 02:16 AM Originally posted by segal3 And it's these blatant plugs that force me to arrive earlier for every one :D Suspension - Being installed Monday. Randy - Drive my car :D Ok, i'll run right out and get my cruiseship helmsman certification right away :-) segal3 05-29-2003, 02:21 AM Well...I could always have Chris drive it again...he seemed to enjoy it :astromile ~Matt Segal PourkyM3 05-31-2003, 12:14 AM When is this Bimmer meet and are they any others which happen often like a once a week meet or month? jaramill 06-05-2003, 07:57 PM Again these are NOT meets, they are auto-crosses in which you pay to drive and work. They're not the traditional meets where most of the BMWs are bling-bling with cosmetic mods and performance mods, and we take a drive/cruise, and then stop for lunch. You're best bet is to keep checking these forums. Usually there are get togethers at Wheel Power in Huntington Beach. I just didn't have the heart (or time :D) to break it to him :biglaughb ~Matt Segal jaramill 06-05-2003, 08:03 PM I hear ya Matt. So I'm excited about my 2-day Auto-x school sponsored by the SCCA this weekend. I made the pre-paid list (max 60 cars). Lots of people wanted to do this but it was First Come First Served. Then I'll be ready for the BMWCCA-LA Chapter auto-x on June 14th! So now that Randy and I have BLATANLY announced it, set your alarm clock early! :) Gio segal3 06-05-2003, 08:17 PM See all that stuff under the Euro plate in my sig? That's still being put on...the Dinan engine chip and intake probably won't be installed until next week...and the harness is yet to arrive :az: So I'll have oh...2 days to adjust to the new suspension :D At least I'll have my own helmet now... ~Matt Segal |
